2020 SEAWOLF North Coast Red Triangle Zinfandel 94 Points

Our 2020 Red Triangle Zinfandel is sourced from a single mountaintop vineyard in the Red Hills appellation overlooking Clear Lake.  Planted in rich volcanic soil located at 2200 feet elevation, this concentrated and spicy Zinfandel rounds out our Fall wine release.
Aged for eleven months sur lie in 25% new French oak, bottled unfined and unfiltered.

The Red Triangle is known by North Coast surfers as a special region that extends from the Farallon Islands up the coast of Mendocino and down to Big Sur south of Monterey. The reference to the name, The Red Triangle, is both geographically unique and an incredibly important sanctuary for the life cycle of the notorious Great White Sharks. This invisible triangle is both their breeding and feeding grounds, often sending fear into the die hard North Coast surfers that seek spiritual growth in the sport of surfing, yet dressed to impersonate a local sea lion.
