2023 SEAWOLF Vina Del Mar Zinfandel Yorkville Highlands, Mendocino

The 2023 SEAWOLF Vina Del Mar Zinfandel from our organically farmed estate mountaintop vineyard located at 2,000 feet elevation in Yorkville Highlands, Mendocino.  Planted to a mix of Zinfandel clones, Ridge Lytton Springs, Saint Peters Church, Mazzoni, and clone X. Vina Del Mar is Spanish for Wine of the sea. When the fog is pulled in from the pacific ocean to our vineyard, it has the appearance of an ocean that is kissing our vineyard. Only a single barrel made, this wine has enticing aromas of crushed black raspberry, violet, sweet spice, and Santa Rosa plum.  Medium-bodied and elegantly structured with a superb core of juicy ripe fruit and incredible freshness.  Bottled both unfined and unfiltered, 13.7% alcohol.
