Twenty-two years ago in the summer of 2002, we met on a blind dinner date at the family estate.  That magical night led to a lifelong journey together as organic wine growers, and eventually parents, and finally proprietors of SEAWOLF Wines.  In remembrance of the day we met and our early shared love for Zinfandel, this beautifully detailed and tantalizing wine is called First Crush. Aged for eleven months sur lie in 35% new French oak, bottled unfined and unfiltered.

Ingredients: Hand harvested, organically grown grapes; native yeasts; naturally occurring malolactic bacteria; minimum effective sulfur. Good for Mother Earth, good for you!

2023 SEAWOLF Estate Yorkville Highlands Primitivo First Crush – Purple in color. 14.3% ABV. Savory nose of red and black fruits, plums and pepper. Medium body with ample acidity. Lush and fruit forward. Black cherry, blackberry, nectarine and pepper on the palate. The finish is long and spicy. Appealing wine that will fare well with hearty foods. $58 at the winery.
